Enhanced “Obamacare” Carols to Share
More evidence that we have a few brilliant people among our ranks. Feel free to share – just tell everyone you saw them here first.
Jingle Bells
Jingle bells, this bill smells, no voting today.
The healthcare bill will not cure ills. We need another way.
Jingle bells, this bill smells, Obama go away.
America has shouted No. These bills we will not pay.
Dashing through the snow on a wintry Boston day.
I’m slipping on the ice when my footing gives way.
The ambulance draws near; my leg is surely broke
I see the line in the ER and I begin to choke!
- REFRAIN -
Obama says it right. Reid & Pelosi say its fair.
I’ve been here all night; no doctors anywhere.
I think I’ll head on home. It’s just a little bone.
My neighbor is a vet. It’s the best care you can get!

Big Government is Coming to Town
You better watch out, you better not cry,
You better not shout, I’m telling you why.
Big Government is coming to town.
They’re making a list & checking it twice.
Gonna’ find out who’s Left and who’s Right
Big government is coming to town.
They tax you when you’re sleeping.
They tax when you’re awake.
They tax you when you’re breathing.
They’ll even tax your wake!
You better watch out, You better not cry.
You better not shout, I’m telling you why.
Big Government is coming to town.
With little Acorns and SEIU,
Socialist Czars and Black Panthers, too.
Big government is coming to town.
They’ll send you to the doctor,
Where you will wait in vain.
You’ll go before a panel,
You’ll get pills to dull the pain.
You better watch out, You better not cry,
You better not shout, I’m telling you why.
Big Government is coming to town.
They’re making a list, Checking it twice,
Gonna’ find out who’s Left and who’s Right.
Big government is coming to town.
O Bama Care
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
It’s paid for by the wealthy.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
Designed to keep us healthy.
But when our taxes start to rise,
We’ll learn it’s all a pack of lies.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care, We’d better all stay healthy.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
Designed to help the needy.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
And paid for by the greedy.
But just get sick, and then you’ll see,
Three days in line at DMV.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care, The service ain’t too speedy!
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
Run from an Ivory Tower.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
Your life is in its power.
So when you need your surgery STAT!
You’ll find your doc’s a bureaucrat
O Bama Care, O Bama Care, You’re doomed in life’s last hour.
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
Oh watch our debt zoom higher
O Bama Care, O Bama Care,
As enemies conspire
And when the Chinese want their gold,
We’ll find our country has been sold
O Bama Care, O Bama Care, Our Liberty’s expired.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the
Greater Boston Tea Party!

OK, so 80% of the country is screaming about the health care “reform” bill. Of course, it isn’t reform, but simply coverage, and does nothing to fulfill any of the Pbama campaign promises in this vein. And while we have tea parties, a lack of common focus or plan of action, it’s all just a lot of complaining. We’ve seen how much Congress and the Administration care about what we care about. Surely they think, we’ll all forhet about this and they’ll be able to soothe this over by election day.
How about if we could all agree to demanding some kind of “first step”, some kind of action that can actually be proposed and have some real effect. Even something “minor” can become a hallmark, a rallying cry, and signal that Americans are going to fight back rather than just complain.
How’s this for an idea. How about a bill that applies to the government–only, and especiallu Congress and the Administration. The government is trying to tell all levels of business how they can or must do business. Why not do something of the same order for these government officials?
The idea is something like a “No Perks” bill. Of course, someone else may have another idea, something that expresses the revolt of us serfs against the king and lords that our government officilas seem to behave more like. ANyway, the idea of the No Perks bill would be to begin to eliminate differences between our “benefits” and theirs. All Federal employees, those folks that supposedly ultimately work for for us, would be required to have only the benefits available to the general public. The first place that would affect them is with health care, and next their pensions. If the laws they’re making are so good, so fair, and really the “right” thing to do, them let them be applied to first Congress and the Administration, and then all Federal employees. Frankly, it may be easier to get a bill that would apply to Congress, assuming anyone has the “moral courage” to propose it, than the rest of the Federal employees–who have–wait for it–a strong union to block such reasonable, “fair and equitable” ideas from becoming law.
So how about it. It’s time to quit complaining and just protesting. Time to turn it into action, and the best action is a LAW. Granted the type of bill I’ve suggested would have minimal effect of the budget, but it’s clearly a step in the right direction, and sends a variety of messages to the King and Lords.
