The Axis of Cluelessness in the War on Terror

In trying to understand this administration’s surreal attempts to counter “man-caused disasters,” comparisons abound – Jerry Lewis, Don Knotts as Barney Fife, Steve Martin in “The Jerk,” Perhaps the most instructive is Peter Sellers as the hilariously bungling Inspector Clouseau in the second Pink Panther movie, “A Shot In The Dark.”

Substitute ideology for instinct, and that explains Obama’s farcical attempts to keep Americans safe from airborne Nigerian Muslims trying to earn their 72 virgins.

Consider the knee-jerk our president has put in charge of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Janet (“the system worked”) Napolitano – increasingly referred to as Janet Incompu-tano.

Napolitano and her boss are in perfect synch.

Don’t miss this brilliant and funny piece by Don Feder, a Tea Party favorite.

  1. Captain of the Dartmouth says:

    Dear Mr. Feder,

Please do not take Ms. Napolitano’s remarks out of context. She was referring to the reaction of TSA, law enforcement, and others to the situation, not to the intelligence lapse that led to the situation.
